My company has several employees interested in the Alliance. Do you have a "company membership" available?
No, the Alliance is based on Individual Memberships. However, the membership fee has been kept to a minimal fee of only $25.00 per calendar year. Membership includes receipt of all Alliance communications and free or low-cost attendance at all Alliance-sponsored seminars and events. This could potentially save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars per year compared to commercially available seminars.
However, if your company is interested in corporate sponsorship, we have the Corporate Partnership Program available which includes a certain number of Individual Memberships which can be shared within your organization for the attendance of Alliance Events.
Do you have specially priced Student Memberships available?
Although we encourage participation in the Alliance by students and educators, we do not have special education pricing at this time due to the already low price of our annual memberships.
Who runs the Alliance?
The Alliance is run by an all-volunteer board of directors, comprised of owners and employees of west Michigan-based graphic communications firms. In addition, we have one part-time support person, Beth Gast, who's compensation is provided courtesy of The Right Place Inc. Beth also serves as the Alliance Secretary on the Board.
How can I become more involved in the Alliance?
We'd love your participation! If you have a specific topic of interest, please contact the Chairperson of one of our Subcommittees. If you'd just like to become more involved, contact one of our Board Members for ideas!
How do I get more information about upcoming events?
Please bookmark and visit this web site often for current information on upcoming events. You may also receive announcements via email or fax by joining our Guest book. Members will automatically receive information via their preferred method, including our period publication, The Alliance newsletter.
Can nonmembers attend Alliance events?
Yes, non-members can attend Alliance events as guests. However, there is generally a charge for guests to attend events. If you plan on attending more than one event per year, it is much more cost effective to join the Alliance as a member.
Who can join the Alliance?
Alliance membership is open to anyone involved in the graphic communications field in West Michigan, including designers, prepress and print professionals, business owners and managers, students and educators, and vendors and suppliers. Membership is based on Individuals.
